LICK OF THE WEEK ARCHIVE
(Photo by Vivanne J. Odisho) The "Lick of the Week" section of this site is designed to give you a "vocabulary" of lick ideas you can use at your disposal. I grew up learning solos from AC/DC records, Pink Floyd records, Black Sabbath records, etc. etc. Legally, I am not allowed to show you those licks because I don't own them, but I can show you what learning those licks has done for me. As a budding guitar player, you want to have a mix of influences that in the end creates your own style. In the "Lick of the Week" section, I will show you the licks that my influences helped me to create. Enjoy!

LICK OF THE WEEK 03/14/10
LEVEL: Intermediate 4....... In this addition to "Lick of the Week," Bob Balch from FU MANCHU will show us a D Minor Pentatonic lick. Use this lick in your vocabulary and try to change it over to different keys . . . CHECK THIS OUT
