5/11 NEW VIDEOS

Last night I filmed a few lesson videos with Steve Brooks of the mighty TORCHE! Here is what I'll be adding to www.playthisriff.com in the next few days:

"Tar Pit Carnivore"
"Little Champion"
"Rock It"
"Without a Sound"
"Steve's Gear Video"

I have been teaching guitar since High School, and I have seen tons of bands over the years. I have never seen a guitar player use the tuning that Steve uses on "Tar Pit Carnivore." It's awesome and totally original so you can't lift it for your band, but you should check it out!

Today I also added the following videos:

"Grasschopper" (Fu Manchu) "E minor Pentatonic thirds exercises" (one) "E minor Pentatonic thirds exercises" (two)

In the next two weeks I am filming two very cool, very big bands. Can't say who yet, but I know you'll dig it! I'll keep you posted.

ROCK,

Bob Balch www.playthisriff.com
